Writers Block

Writers Block

What to do when your thoughts are trapped in your mind's prison? You have the thoughts but you don't have the words to create the vision. Too many or not enough options cloud the decision to bring the audience lyrical precision. I try to revive my zone, to bring the creative juices back home. But, it didn’t work so my mind is Macaulay Cculkin, home alone. The ideas are a lot of fragments, therefore call this a literature piece, a bunch of shattered bones. I can be on one for a hour but all it takes is a phone call or a trip to the bathroom, for my mind to escape the zone. Now I'm playing phone with my mind but the hot line I had is now dead. I try to revive that line by putting the phone to my head yet, the dial tone remains dead. Since I can't find the zone, I went from my heart but I'm only jotting down things you already read. I need a creative jot so I'll just go off the top my head, or turn on some music instead. Full of ideas, yet the thoughts to the pen are blocked so how am I going to keep the paper fed. How can I bring the words to life when my thoughts are dead. Entrapment, I'm a prisoner of my own mind. Matching wits with my mental while searching for the mental key I need to find.

Don't you hate that feelin? Don't you hate that feelin? Writers block! Writers block will make you go insane. Is writers block the mind's recovery from creative discovery? We gotta break free from this ball and chain. The emptiness of nothing is fillin' the brain. Writers block numbs you but you still can feel the pain. We gotta put an octagon to writers block to eliminate the mental strain.

How do you stop this feelin'? I call it entrapment. Your thoughts are enclosed somewhere inside your mental's fortress. You have the topic sentence and the thesis but you can't find the words to paint the portrait. Your mind is feeling like the Kentucky derby, your thoughts are racing but you're not visualizing horses. Thoughts about upgrading the class of description in your topic sentence yet, there's insufficient funds to pay for the mental courses. You have an idea but your thoughts amount to nothing. A pair of machine with 600 horses, so the pen and your mind are racing Porsches. Creativity is down for the count since your stories were burned by the torches. You want to create but in your mind it's too late because right now you're experiencing that feelin'. Nothing is there! How does emptiness fill the blank in? A claustrophobic conversation, constricts the motion similar to bodies plankin'. You're full of ideas however the creative juices keep blankin'.

Keep the thoughts flowing, its the creativity movement! No writers block allowed! Lets Go
